just a quick post to let you know that we took the night train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, and today we’re taking a cooking class – Phad Thai and green curry will have no secret for us!
by the way we’ve been traveling for 2 months already… crazy how much stuff we packed over 2 months, but even crazier how fast that went!

Donc ça y est, on a finalement complètement quitté la Chine, après une semaine de détente chez Maud et Yverain (nous les remercions a nouveau pour leur hospitalité!), et nous avons maintenant un “netbook”, c’est a dire qu’on essayera de rattraper rapidement notre retard au niveau des articles!

We decided to travel around the world from May 2009 to July 2010; you’ll find our story on this weblog! We had already travelled quite a bit together, in Canada and in France, and we always got along fine… At some point we decided to go a bit further, and got married… And we still got along fine!
So, it appeared to us that we’d never be readier than now to travel a whole year together, around the world ;-)
The trip turned out to be 14 months long, and good news: we are still getting along just fine!
The articles of this blog can be either in French or English; most of them are translated in both languages but it’s not necessarly the case.

Kath is from Saltspring Island, British Columbia,Canada but has been living in Lyon, France for the past 3 years, learning French, teaching English and eating cheese.
